What a great tip. I used to have a habit of licking my lips and later on I felt burned around the edge of my lips. The edge of lips turned red and raised a bump. It was hurting--not good at all. I believe it was similar to coldsore (or my sympthom was coldsore?) Thanks for the advice. I will try these ideas when I have the issue again. Wow! What a great tip.
